Back to drawing basics. A little out of practice I see. But I do love a graphic pencil drawing. I bought a set of Faber Castell Pitt graphite Matt pencils and I really like them. I was curious to see the improvement in reduced light reflection. They are really nice and glide well on a bristol paper and have a really nice tonal value range. The dark shades are wonderful. Iwas able to get some pretty good detail. They sharpen well and I didn't break my tips I just sharpened them.  I did think they seemed harder to blend.

Gemma is such a great guide to adding all those little details that make a drawing fun. I love her subjects and tutorial length. It was a fun tutorial of a whimsical subject.
