Sailing Beyond Basics - Painting Boats, Water & Reflections In Watercolor
I'm a beginner; this is my first time painting with this technique. I used 50% cotton Fabriano paper because I bought a lot of it on sale a while ago and thought it was excellent for watercolors, but I realize it's not ideal for the wet-on-wet technique.
I repeated the painting twice because I wasn't very fast the first time, and the paper dries so quickly that the paint comes off if I go over it with the brush.
I used Windsor & Newton watercolors in pan, and unfortunately, they aren't very pigmented.
In conclusion, I didn't use the right materials, but the lessons were really helpful in learning the technique.
Thank you, Sukrutha, for this wonderful course.
