Gouache y acrílico para principiantes; crea una pintura de aves juguetona

Hi Mirabelle, I like how you've created your painting - it's lovely. You've got lots of movement and interest and your bird is really sweet. Did you find it easy to follow and try out, or was it challenging in parts? All good feedback for me to hear :-)

It was easy to follow, Dawn, the problems I encountered are only because of me. First of all, I used an old background made with paint left on the palette I did not want to throw away, so I made a background with it on a page. Not the best idea to use it.. especially this red hue! lol
My paints are not high quality, that does not help either :) And the last thing: I am not used to paint animals, I had a hard time to find a way to simplify and stylize. I wanted to do my "own thing" and I think that I also failed the composition. But it's not a problem, I'm learning; this fail is a lesson :) Will try again later and I hope I will do better.

There's no 'fail' in your lovely painting - only learning. I had to paint my painting twice before I got it how I wanted it, and I have other 'rejects' that didn't make it to the final stage. I see it all as a wonderful opportunity to just keep playing :-)

I realize I really need learning how&nbsp;to simplify and stylize, need to train myself a lot :) But I like this way of painting, will try more and more :)
