Thank you so much for this class! I've been working on realism in my painting lately, and realized I've been so fixed on rendering perfect details that I lost sight of actually capturing the feel of a subject, and could feel my passion for my art starting to give way to stress about the results.

So, I challenged myself to just follow this one along without pausing or redoing any steps, embracing the flow of the process and allowing any mistakes (such as, uh, not centering it on the canvas properly at ALL) to become part of the piece. It came out very messy, but I'm fond of it. I had so much fun, and it felt truly healing to get back to focusing on the process rather than the results!
