Revisting my palette

Revisting my palette - image 1 - student project

Revisting my palette of watercolours was great way refresh your  and unlock new color combo possibilities. The graduation of colors to create lighter and more subtle variations of the same hue was really quite surprising of the pigments I don't use very often like the Terre Vert.

My salt experiment initially didn't work very well on a lime green so I tried again using much deep blue with more pigment and the results were beautiful. I really like to incorporate this in future watercolor projects, as I do love the texture. It's giving me a lot of ideas for stormy or even snowy landscapes perhaps.
