These are my first sketches for the postcard project. 

At first I looked at shapes and general design concepts in furniture, textile and graphic design. Such as overapping shapes, textures, outlines, organic shaped, rounded edges:

Then I collected "urban objects" and more specific shapes in illustrations and postcards.

My city is Stuttgart in Germany. A lot of buildings were put up in he 50s but it is by far nor "modernist city". But I'll accpt the challenge an am curious about the result :)
