Randomness

Below are a few pictures of the steps I took to get to the final random sketch.

From here I just looked for any shapes that resembled any object and just kept going until I ran out of ideas.

This was a great exercise and also a great excuse to use supplies that I haven't used for a while, such as my acrylic markers and twigs for inking.

I enjoyed adding the lettering at the end to fill up some blank areas, something I don't normally do.

After this inspiring class I aim to get out my Ralph Steadman (one of my favourite artists) 'Life in Ink' book for some more inking inspiration.

Even though there is no rhymne nor reason to this piece, which was basically the whole idea behind the project, I thouroughly enjoyed the process and the fact that I created something.
