Hi Rachel, this is absolutely charming! It seems like you already have a style of your own. I like the soft colors on the gray background. There are so many interesting details to your illustration! And they all work well together. Very nicely done :) Keep up the good work. Y

First of, I got to say I like how your illustration is different than mine, in a sense that you created something completely original. As to balancing the composition, I am drawn on the left to the intricate dandelion in white, but mostly to the delicate line&amp;coloring of the other dandelion on the left. Then on the right, your blue flower is drawing attention to its contrasting, dramatic colors. So to me it’s all working well together and in good balance. I also like how you’ve added those playful seeds flying in the wind.

Thank you! I appreciate your kind comments and feedback. I was terrified to do this project, but wanted to try. I truly didn’t think I would be able to collage the different flowers together. I am glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried. Someone in my art group felt the left side wasn’t balanced as the right. Do you agree?

Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it. I guess I did not realize I created my own image. I watched the video, then set it aside and tried to use the concepts you taught in the class. I honestly thought I was doing the same thing! Goes to show what our brains retain. I was so afraid to take this class as I thought I was not experienced enough yet. But I gave it a go and just worked on one element at a time. Then I thought, well let’s try putting it together, and that’s how it came together. I was really surprised that I was able to achieve this. I learned so much for using surprising colors, textures, and offsetting the kind work and stuff. I think it will add so much to my future designs. Thank you again! Hope to see more classes.

Well I gave it a go. I know I have a lot of practice to do. However, I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome! I think I will try some more soon!
