The cover image showcases a sample of my Rabbit's Egg pattern from illustrations I did in watercolor. 

I often have difficulty coming up with subjects to paint so I decided on a rabbit and came up with ideas that can be associated with it. Below are my scanned watercolor illustrations.  

I spent a great deal of time using the techniques outlined in the class with placing the elements in a way I was happy with.  I tried both pattern making techniques and made adjustments where needed when testing for obvious pattern lines. The process of going back and forth, using the shortcuts, and methods the instructor outlined helped with getting used to the shortcuts. 

Here are a couple of mockups that I can see this pattern working well with.
