I started RWEN Design & Fiber to bring the influence of nature into people’s lives. I’m a graphic designer with 25 years experience telling stories for the National Park Service. I grew up with a woods as my playground and spent rainy days making art and crafting. I am blessed to again live in Vermont where I am surrounded by nature. 

Today, we spend more time indoors than ever before. Our children have lost touch with the natural world inhibiting their abilities to explore with their senses, have empathy for others, and stalling their ability to learn. 

Birds, bugs, flowers, frogs, turtles, and trees inspire me to create one of a kind handmade items. They are meant to be cuddled, sat on, walked on, and otherwise engaged with. Crafting kits can enhance your rainy days. And when the sun shines, step outside, go to a nearby park, and make your own connections with the natural world.
