Thanks so much for joining me in this mysterious class!..

 
It was filmed in the old forest of Grunewald near the abandoned villa...

 

 

There was a Gothic gate sign in the style of Ex Libris, so I started to sketch it right away. The sign says something like "The decision is everything".

 

 

 

My sketchbook didn't work great with brush pens (note: try the new sketchbook at home first! :)  But the forest atmosphere was so magical that it didn't matter much.

The only thing I was afraid of is to meet a werewolf, ghoul, or Vlad in those creepy woods.

 

So I gathered various leaves and objects for studio inspiration.

 

 

Plenty of nuts and squirrels around and of course beautiful and almost dry leaves. These work great for printing and experimental techniques.

 

 

To try more oriental inky approach I was inspired by flowers.

 

 

I always love to add a fantastic or personal element to the artwork, so it will be even more unique.

That's why my Owl is purple!
