PROJECT II:

COLOR STORY: The Divine Gardner

COLORWAYS (starting from the left column): Tillage, Seeds of Grace, First Light, Enlightenment

Discovery: I struggled with colors for some time. I had different numbers of color combinations from 24, to 9, back to 12, to finally 4.  Four was the magic number!  I took Jenna's advice and I looked at my wardrobe, how I've decorated my home... and that's when I realized that I like a "capsule aesthetic" in the real world. Additionally, I'm somewhat of a minimalist or, rather, I don't like clutter. Sidebar, I do hope, however, to learn how to do layered designs to see what that would look like given what I've just discovered about myself. Last, learning about the best file format and resolution to export designs.

FINAL PROJECT: APRON TEST

Well, I have to say that I've learned a lot about myself in this course. I wasn't expecting that. For example, I started agonizing over how to make this perfect, thankfully I stopped myself. As a recovering perfectionist, it wasn't easy. I told myself that I want to enjoy this and that I will get better the more I create. I'm most proud that I finished and learned so much! I hope that Jenna does another class soon.
