To follow my entire personal branding process using a DIY tool called Canva you can watch the Skillshare class below.

I created a mood-board by sourcing photos I am inspired by on Pexels.com (free photos) and I use color.adobe.com to import a collage of those photos and start to source my color palette.
I noticed that gold was in a large part of the photos I choose, so I used that as the mainstay in my brand. Gold is such a strong element that i paired it with neutral black and gray tones.
I also have a geometric line pattern as a subtle background brand asset I can use as a unifying design theme throughout my marketing. I love the use of geometric patterns and teach several classes on it, so it made sense to bake the things I teach into my brand.
I created several social graphics to find out what worked better, and get the right balance between gold, black, photos and patterns. I decided to work with flat lay photography mostly, as it gave me a nice clean background and setting to place my logo (which is more detailed than most) and call to actions.
I have not rolled this out yet, I still have this brand "in the oven" but hope to roll it out in 2019.
Trying to go for an overall high end look I can translate into business coaching and business consulting as I pair that with teaching. A master brand so to speak.
Would love your feedback!
