Hi Ramya, thanks for posting your project.First of all, great choice of colours. You have a keen eye for picking an attractive colour palette. The pale yellow works really well as a background and contrasts nicely with the stronger red/pink hair and green/turquoise cardigan of your profile character.I love that you added a few very unique features to your character, for example: the thick glasses, the mug, the earrings. Finally, great texture. I love the shadows you added under the eyebrows and under the chin. You have a good understanding of lighting and how it hits the face.I would be curious to see how the picture would work without the drop shadow behind the character. I think it may help pop her up a bit more. What do you think?Great job!

The drop shadow, yes. I want to try taking that away, but I added it in the first place cause otherwise it looked too flat, but I do realize it is something I fall back on and might not help me in this case (becomes too much I think and going away from the minimal aesthetic), when I am trying to keep my icon small.  Hopefully in future illustrations, I will keep these in mind! Thank you so much for the great course and I also wanted to tell you how amazing I find your style of illustration. ^-^
