In the original Procreate version I used a semi transparent brush on the red, when I vectorized it I didn't really like the 2 toned color so I went with no texture and a flat version. I also changed the colors in the vector version. I've used image trace before but I've never made custom presets so that was something new. 

Generally I just choose one program or the other but I can see where it would be handy to know how to convert a Procreate pattern into a vector version.
