Hand Tint Image Effect in Adobe Lightroom & ACR - A Graphic Design for Lunch™ Class

Nice work Teresa. You've made a good image choice and your selection and tinting looks good. Thank you for posting your project.

I am curious. I think the older photo is 'tinted', like the tutorial. But, in my opinion, the other one is selective coloring...although I did change the color...so maybe not. Just curious about the specifics of hand-tinting.

So, I think of tinting as adding color which wasn't there before - that's why the tinting exercise involves selecting a color to use on the image. 
Selective color is removing the color from all the image except one part of it - but you're not changing the color you are leaving in place - it is as it was in the original image.
