Finally managed to make a portrait of my son. Never would have thought of tweaking the light like this! Thank you for the inspiration. 
Normally I don’t have the patience to spend lots of time on a drawing, but felt it was worth it this time.

 

Have absolutely no idea why pictures won't load in the proper direction...
