Dog version: 

Here's my cute dog version. I love playful he looks. :) For this one I layered over the cross-hatching marks more than in previous works and I love how they become hits of texture and more subtle shading additions.

 

Kitty version:

This winter we got a cat so I knew that at some point I really wanted to create a Cubist kitty. I am so thrilled with how this turned out. And it is so outside my usual art making that I how this class is stretching me artistically. :)

I had so much fun using some of my favorite artistic approaches and media to create these women. I'm excited to continue to explore portrait distortion inspired by Picasso's work.
