Petals in Harmony

I thoroughly enjoyed watching you work your magic with flowers, Clarice. Painting loosely without a sketch is very challenging for me. I don’t naturally see images in my mind, so I rely on visual guidance for most of my artwork. You made it look so effortless that I decided to give it a try.

While it was definitely a challenge, I did my best—and I truly believe there is value in trying, even when something feels difficult. Practice is exactly what I need. I’m now following you on Instagram and hope to be inspired to try again and continue learning.

For my flowers, I used Cobalt Violet, Dioxazine Purple, Shadow Violet, Sugilite, and Payne’s Grey—all Daniel Smith paints. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful class!
