Your wonderful project gave me the chance to understand how to make a rimless pattern. Actually I don't have all the material and technology recommended, but I understood how it works. 

I also watched the second part of the project. Because I don't use photoshop I couldn't transpose it to my project. 

At the moment I don't have many small paper blocks. I cuted a normal printer paper in four pieces and made a colored sketch.

I duplicated it in my Sketchbook App. 

It works! 😃

2. Attempt 

On a computer paper (cuted in four pieces), I made a sketch and transferred it on a watercolor paper.

 

 

This picture was transferred to the sketchbook app, duplicated and the edges cleaned and corrected.

The final result. 

To use many small paper blocks is a very good idea. It was a pleasure to follow your explanation. Thanks a lot for this great protect . Maggie
