Parasitic Thoughts
I took this course at a time when I truly needed it, when my state of overthinking was leaving me no room to breathe.
The feeling I experienced—and later developed through this drawing—is the constant, relentless pressure exerted on the brain. This pressure creates a disconnection from the self, leading to a loss of awareness of the body’s needs and of the self in the present moment. The physical sensation is that of the head about to explode, after being filled with parasitic, energy-draining thoughts.
Drawing all of this helped me reconnect with the present.
