I started out planning to complete the project as it is taught. Unfortunately, I got it in my head to make a flap and use magnets to close it. 


Overall things turned out well, I even got a chance to use some of my new mulberry marbled end paper. The magnets are a little week and sometimes don't hold the flap down securely. There are three magnets in the outer board and three in the flap, The magnets hold strong for their size until you introduce the cloth or paper coverings. Went with the dotted paper for notes. I also finished the cover before stitching in the signatures, it did turn out rather good in my biased opinion. Will purchase larger square magnets for future use.
