Thank you for unlocking the secret of blending watercolor makers.  I've always tried to apply the markers directly on dry watercolor paper and then blend them with a water pen.  Your method is much, much better.  I decided to use the background for a holiday card with a black silhouette.  I am so pleased with the result.
