I can't remember the last time I painted a picture using only pencils. I loved it as a teenager. However, I never used pencils with different degrees of hardness. Mostly just a medium hardness. I have now gained a new understanding of it.

Field barns are one of my absolute favorite motifs. They tell so many stories for me. During the painting process, I decided not to define the water barrel and the tractor. Throughout the process, I weighed up what I should leave out or simplify. I want to try out even more in order to gain more insights and make more confident decisions. Thank you for the great class.
