I‘m a huuuuge fan of cozy crime novels from around the 1920s. The Daisy Dalrymple series is my biggest favorite at the moment, but I also like Miss Fishers murder mysteries etc. I love that they are aristocratic, live in a manor or castle, have butlers, maids, a cook and of course everything is very british, especially the food and daily routine. I‘m getting hungry just because of the thought of a british teatime… ;-)

So here is my british castle, and although it looks cute every single inside is quite chilly and draughty. You definately need a nice fire in the fireplace and wear a lot of layers. And - to be really honest - the lavs leave a lot of room for improvement! But the food is extraordinary and you get your morning tea in your bed! ;-)

The class was super nice, something useful for inbetween!
