No Effort People Sketches

I loved all the helpful examples to sketch from.  I followed along with all the lessons and also threw in a few of my own favorite people.  I realized I need a lot more practice sketching the proportions of children because that was a huge struggle for me.  Also teeth are scary lol 

No Effort People Sketches - image 1 - student projectI tried a few different pens until I settled on one that didn't bleed through the pages too much.  I took this class slow and just worked on a lesson or single sketch for the day so this kept me occupied for a bit.  I only used watercolor very sparingly because the paper in this sketchbook is basically normal copy paper, but that's okay.  I liked being able to see all my lines very easily.

No Effort People Sketches - image 3 - student projectII mostly stuck to the continuous line drawing, but I often didn't like the distraction caused by the line into the face to reach the mouth or other features, so I picked up my pen and drew them as standalone features sometimes.
