I'm quite pleased with my nexting bird though I must say I'll probably never work again with masking fluid!  I've used a different brand before and thought I'd try a new brand hoping for better results.  Nearly the same frustrations.  The fluid didn't harden well (even after 24 hours of sitting!) and it only smeared around on the page when I tried to rub it off!  Thankfully nests are supposed to be smudged and dirty looking.  So maybe it's the paper I'm using (300gsm).

But my bird was cute.  And my eggs turned out colorful and cheery!
