Yes I had the same issue as the image is re-imported back in as a RGB file so I found that if you set up the canvas colour profile as sRGB then there are no issues. I use the colour profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1 when setting up the canvas.

great! I'll remember that ;-) One more question: Can you do the same steps to create a smaller exported pattern tile at the end? maybe 9 tiles or even 4?

Yes you can, you just need to make a duplication of your big tile shortcut then alter the number of images in the list you create. So you could call it big tile 9, then include only 9 images in the list, not 16 as you did on the course. You could do the same thing and just have four images in a tile. Once you’ve made the shortcuts you can alter them to your own preferences! Just remember to make a duplication rather than altering the original, in case you don’t like the changes :)

I have found a solution to your problem with using a large canvas size. I think because you’re combing two images it makes a massive image 8000px wide and the shortcuts app cannot cope with it. So my solution is for the horizontal shortcut to take one image, then crop the left hand side. You need to take another image and crop the right hand side. Then you need to arrange these in a grid horizontally. Make sure the right hand side is first and the left hand side is second so that the two sides are swapped round. I would recommend using an existing shortcut and duplicating it, to play around with getting the solution you need. Give it a go and let me know how you get on!

Worked nicely with both affinity designer and procreate. I could not use it with canvas sizes over 4000 pixels. 3500px worked fine though.
I was a little challenged as I had to translate the shoutcuts and the individual steps to danish.
