I had an idea of a very bright set of citrus shapes so I went for this idea in most of the exercises. Let me know what you think!

 

 

 

Creating a scatter brush for the citrus textures

I played with the pressure and tilt functions of my tablet

 

 

The radial repeat, useful for the orange segments :)

 

The mirror repeat (not citrus related)

 

The grid repeat

You can see where the scatter brush is applied to hint at some texture on the fruit.

 

the blend (not citrus related)

This is a colour and position blend

 

And the opacity mask, applying a stipple texture on the fruit (instead of the "holes" to create some shading)
