My inspiration to make cards

Thank you Chris for this class, and for the series that helps us thinking about inspiration and creativity! The theme reminded me a bit of one of my favorite books: 'Big Magic' by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Recently I have been regularly following and taking part in an art challenge on Instagram, where I use prompts to crate a drawing or painting. Sometimes simple, sometimes more intricate, and this week I added my own little puppies to the theme. I was inspired. I am even planning on creating holiday cards to sell them at a Christmas fair later this year. I still need to add quotes or wishes to most of them, but here is an idea of how it goes:

Prompt list this week:

And some other prompts and drawings over the past month or so:

Hope you like them - it feels so good to put something on paper when we're inspired. Or just brainstorm and make something, to keep creating. I find that I get more easily inspired when I keep at it. And then sometimes I make something I really like! ;-) So for me, I find that working under pressure actually helps me creating. If I got lazy I wouldn't make much.
