My first book
First of all, I would like to thank master Agassi for sharing his knowledge in such a nice way. Two weeks ago I stumbled into this channel on Skillshare (then YouTube), and it hooked me so much that I ordered some tools to start with bookinding.
Ten years ago I studied guitar making but unfortunately dropped the whole thing because it is hard to make a living out of it. Seeing craftsmen sharing their knowledge in a world dominated by digital always fills my heart with joy! Using our hands to create is in my opinion what makes us humans. Thank you master Agassi for sharing your beautiful craft, I am so happy to be able to get back to creating objects during my freetime without the need for a big workshop! 😄
Herebelow is the first book I made, combining a few techniques that I saw in the other lessons here and on YouTube. As I am currently studying graphic design, I jumped on the opportunity to make a tiny (A5) portfolio of the projects I made during these last months. Really happy with the result and really enjoyed the process, cannot wait to start another project 😄 (I realized I got the grain direction wrong but was limited with the paper I had anyways. Next time!)

Thank you!
