So I took notes on this class, I figure that would be good practice for me. So as you can see, I tried to keep it simple and consistent like the second example. I did all of my notes first just with the line structure- no light blue. I tried to break things up into sensible blocks. Then once I was done I hunted down a highlighter and went back and add just a little bit of color. I tried to use the secondary color sparingly, only on the dividers to break up the samey-ness and to highlight important details.

 

I had some trouble with consistency, I had to add the line before example after the dashed underline because I did the line on the second example section. I also didn't think about the arrows I might change them to angle brackets in future notes.

 

I think the most helpful part was going slow and pausing the video- yeah that might not help in person classes. But I could pause at any point and finish my thoughts and add detail. I would recommend some kind of practice slowly with out the stress and hurry of actual grades.
