My Tiny Test for Big Clarity

For my class project, I decided to complete the framework myself and use this class as my Tiny Test!

My research question was: Would creatives and entrepreneurs (like you!) find it valuable to have a framework that helps them test their biggest, boldest ideas in a manageable, iterative way? My hypothesis was that they would — especially if the process was hands-on, actionable, and honest about some of the real obstacles that get in the way, like fear of failure and perfectionism.

To test that idea, I built the simplest useful prototype I could: this Skillshare class. Rather than waiting until the larger framework felt fully polished or complete, I used this class to share the core ideas, walk through the exercises, and invite feedback from the exact audience I hope to serve.

My success signals include whether the class feels useful and clear to students, which parts resonate most, what needs refining, and whether it helps people feel more confident about moving an idea forward. The method I chose was to gather both qualitative and quantitative feedback through student responses, class projects, discussion posts, reviews, and general signs of interest when I share the class more broadly.

My 7-day test plan was simple: publish the class, invite feedback, collect signals, and then decide on the next best step. At the end of the week, I’ll be looking at what feels like a real signal, what feels like noise, and whether the response suggests I should double down, adjust the framework, or head back to the drawing board.

I’ll keep updating the class discussion with what I’m learning as feedback comes in, along with any decisions I make about the next iteration. If you’re comfortable, I’d love for you to share your Tiny Test too — whether it’s fully underway or still just taking shape. Seeing how other people are testing their ideas is part of what makes this process so helpful.

Happy testing!
