I have long been a fan of O'Keeffe's work and loved having the chance to play with one of her watercolors.  I chose to play with my "southwest" palette and O'Keeffe's Morning Sky watercolor from 1916.  

I used Daniel Smith watercolors on Village Watercolor Paper (140lb (300gsm) handmade deckle edge paper textured.  I definitely didn't get the depth of color that she did.
