Thank you very much! I was a bit unsure whether to make this a class or not, as it might be a bit intimidating for students. But I figured it's probably good to have a range of different levels. Also I feel there's lots to learn in watching this, even if a student doesn't feel like painting it themselves :)

Thank you for your willingness to attempt it! It does seem quite ambitious with all the details. The principles and techniques used are the same as my other classes, but with a more time consuming composition. Good Luck! Whatever the result, be happy with yourself for trying, as that's the most important aspect to learning! I didn't upload actual photos to the resource section as this is more of an imaginative piece. This species of flower doesn't actually exist. I just combined various references of different flowers to come up with a composition myself. I guess they most resemble Poppies.

With this class I wanted to demonstrate all of my favourite techniques and methods to painting expressive flowers. I'd love to see your interpretations and projects on this. Anyone, including beginners, will learn a lot about watercolour in this class. Even if you don't feel up to painting it.
