My First Time Making Collage Paper

What a fantastic class. I learned so much by creating collage papers from whatever materials I had on hand. Deli wrap quickly became my favorite because of its lovely transparency—especially since I didn’t have any teabag paper. Each stage built naturally on the one before it, and I was genuinely happy with how everything turned out.

I’ve attached a few cutouts from my abstract painting; I added collage to four of them, and the rest felt complete as they were. I also included photos of the collage papers featuring my cat, who absolutely insisted on helping me flatten them. His creative supervision was unavoidable and very charming.
