Acrylic Painting for Kids and Beginners: Learn How to Paint a Rainbow Swirly Tree

Thank you Ms. Em!  We used watercolor for this project because we don't have acrylic on hand. We are also gonna use watercolor for your other classes 

Very nice...did you also use watercolor paint for the tree? The color black looks so nice and dark on my computer screen:) And did you let each color dry before you started painting with the next color? 
I think I will try this art project using watercolor next time I create with my class. Thanks for the idea!

Hello Ms. Em! Me and my daughter Stina get excited each time we get a message from you. We are honored to get feedback from you, her art mentor 

ABout this project, we did not  let each color dry before painting the next color. She just painted her way down to the last edge, and then we let it dry before drawing the tree and the owl with a black marker 

FYI, Stina already did the Maasai Warriors, The Shark Silhouette, and the Bird Sillhoutte all in one day!  It's summer vacation here in the Philippines, so we're determined to do at least 2 artworks per day to keep her busy. haha   I've posted the projects already, they're all done with watercolor and markers. I don't know why the thumbnails don't show though (even if I've clicked the "upload picture" at the bottom part). But it's no biggie. 

I just want to tell you that she really enjoys your classes.  Our project for today will be your latest class, the fish/mice/peacock collage, so hang on for our post!
