There are worse ways to spent time during a heatwave, than to draw a little creature, while sitting under a nice ceiling fan. Normally I use soft pastel, but that did not seem like a good idea with the fan spreading the pastel dust everywhere. I find colored pencil a lot harder to use. I am struggling to get enough coverage and end up with overworked areas. Also the working from light to dark is contrary to what I am used to. I am going to need a lot more practise. Oh, well, still some more hot days coming......
