My 3 Days Of Sketching! ✨
The materials I used don't really matter but here's a list if you're curious!
Colored mechanical pencil lead with pencils
Ohuhu alcohol markers! ✨ (I love markers 😂)
Ohuhu's beedproof (first generation) sketchbook
Cheap bic pen
Fineliners (assorted)
Day one I figured out the best way for me to break up references easier. First I find the "swoopies," AKA the movement in the pose. Second, I find the more human shapes. Finally I finish it off by detailing clothes, face, etc. In reality the last step takes longest but for the sake of being simple we're just talking about the sketchy part 😂
I also started giving myself a 3-5 min timer to help me stay loose and keep going.
Day two I just used a page I'd already drawn a cherry tree on, so you get to see that as well. 😊

Day three I had so much fun, so I did a ton of sketches! I'll just show my favorite and the hardest one. It took me a handful of tries but I love the end result!

Thank you for loooking! It was a very fun and low-pressure class, and the references were also very helpful! I would recommend! Keep drawing and have a wonderful day! ❤️
(Also, IDK why the thumbnail is upside down... 🤷🏼♀️ 😂)
