This was such a perfect class to take on a rainy Saturday afternoon, it was very therapeutic and relaxing. I really liked the Esther’s idea to use these swatches in your digital work.

I used Windsor and Newton gouache paints:

Spectrum red

Venetian red

Ultramarine

Cyprus green

Primary yellow

Yellow ochre

Zinc white

All the colour cards presented together do present a cohesive muted palette which I love but it’s hard to tell which colours work best together.

This snap shot shows a smaller sample of colour cards, which helped me pick out the swatches that stood out to me most.

I was really drawn to the muted oranges and then picked out colours I felt complimented them. Below I’ve pulled a couple of my favourite combinations
