Hi Gabriel! Thank you so much for taking my class! I apologize for the late reply; I must have missed the notification. I think for your first time drawing in this style, It's a huge success! I love the colors you used in this piece and the nice textures you created, not only in the character but also in the ground they are sitting on. It is such an excellent choice of colors and textures. Some things I would add are shadows on the ground your character is on, so it feels like they are outside and that there is a light source coming from somewhere. I would add a little mouth to your character to push your expression. I would use your line work brush, go back into your ground, and add some little marks to indicate the grass or field. I would also play with leaving some edges of the mushroom a little more loose and not so clean, so the background and character feel more cohesive.Let me know if you have any questions!
