First of all, your dog is so adorable, Jane! I know you've mentioned his name, but I can't quite remember it. I had another fun day painting with you today. It's funny, but sometimes I feel like I'm painting alongside everyone else; when I laugh, I can almost hear them laughing too!

As usual, I worked in sections because I just can't keep the paper wet enough when painting large areas. But like you always say… use whatever works. If I recall correctly, it was either you or Chris Kowalski who suggested this technique to me early on, and it seems to work better for me. I finally took the plunge and painted the whiskers; thank goodness it turned out!

I enjoyed using a limited color palette. It made it easy to choose the colors to work with! :)
