The colors are just beautiful and it does look like abstract misty mountains. It sounds like PanPastels are for you.  They are much cleaner to work with.

ooooh I LOVE these colours together... I've not tried soft pastel for a whole project... I really like the texture and warmth you've created... ah yes, i bet it is a bit messy! lol.

The messiness can be a downside to using using pastel. But your misty mountains are lovely, Carmen. The angular lines on the land add a beautiful ruggedness against the soft sky. Oh I see the misty mountains as well!  I think that’s I don’t get my pastels out.  I love them, but they are so messy!

It sure does at sunset or sunrise.. it's beautifully soft in the mountains... :*))

I like pastel but not getting my hands dirty! I had no idea what I was trying to draw but looks a bit like a rising misty mountain.
