You inspire me to set up a still life of my own!

Fantastic Suzanne! I really enjoy the mix of round/straight, clear/solid, and vertical/horizontal form variety you've included in your composition. Great use of value range as well, especially on the spigot of the pump and the bottom right of the plate, I can clearly understand the depth of space and hierarchy of objects you've portrayed.I also love that you're already thinking about how you can step up from here! I think a helpful question to ask (which I even have to draw on my sketches sometimes) is "Where is the light coming from?" and lean on that direction to further inform your value shifts and accentuate your forms. Can't wait to see where you take your work from here! :) -Jill
