Misty Pine Reflections

Watercolor on Arches Rough Press
This was a fun project and a great practice opportunity. Some of the skills used are timing, soft or lost edges, and water control.
I didn't want to invest a lot of time in painting because I had a lot to do this week but if I did it again I'd add some variety in the distance (tree height, some areas of interest in the foreground like rocks or branches popping out of the snow and some movement to the water to make it more obvious that it's a reflection. These might be good suggestions to anyone who's putting together a composition :)
I used Payne's Grey, Lavender and Juanne Brilliant if anyone is curious.
The second image I added was an idea I worked through for practice but decided not to pursue.
