The past two years I had a terrible art block. Caused by the pandemic and all the worries it did bring along. A few days ago I felt in the mood for watercolors again, so today I did unpack my art materials and started watching this wonderful class. I like all of the wonderful wreaths, but I decided to start with the Christmassy one.

After I felt quite comfortable with my painting I did digitize it. I wanted to do some corrections, like smoothing out some parts and I felt in the mood for adding a lettering & some more stars. I don’t really like how the bow turned out. Too much white, but I’ll leave it like that now. Here’s the result. I hope from now on I will focus more on painting again. I did miss being creative so much, but had absolutely no patience for it. My head was simply too busy to get started. Thank you Amarylis, for this fantastic class!!

I created another version with different text and I changed the bow a little bit.
