I am passionate about mental health advocacy. I have bipolar disorder and I write about it.

One of my brainstormed ideas was to make a poster about some aspect of bipolar since I don't usually make visual art. I chose mania.

I'm new to visual art, but I am glad I experimented with one of the ideas I came up with. The fireworks represent the explosive energy of a manic state, and the wavy lettering is meant to show the ups and downs of the disorder.

I look forward to working with the rest of the items on my list.
