Measuring & Proportion Project - My Drawings From The Class

Hello Brent,

This project consists of my drawings that I made step-by-step from the Measuring & Proportions class. I have taken this class to further improve my drawing skills.

Following are the drawings that I made from the class, in order -

Taking this class has given me the confidence and drive to make more drawing without self-doubt and uncertainty. It has helped me overcome the uncertainty that comes with drawing any specimen (objects) that I have chosen to draw.

On the other hand, it has given me confidence to measure the dimensions of the objects using either my tall paintbrush or my full-length pencil. My favourite sections of the class were measuring each dimesion of the object several times, Plumb Lines, and Triangulation.

My favourite part of the class was drawing the handle of the teacup. I learnt how to do so previously from the "Form & Space" class; in that class, there is a section where you taught how to draw the handles of a cup/teacup, and I integrated that into this class while drawing the teacup given in the Still Life picture of this class. (I have been learning how to draw by following the Art & Science of Drawing Series in order, so this is the fourth class that I have taken from the series).

Taking the class along with the previous classes has motivated me to draw and has helped me overcome my fear in not only drawing, but also experimenting with value that comes with the aspect of shading in drawing.

I will now continue my drawing journey in the Art & Science of Drawing Series as usual.

Thank you for posting this class. Much appreciated from my end!

Sincerely,

Harshita
