Me again. Do you use a Wacom or did you do the artwork on an iPad primarily? I am at a crossroads.

Hey Cassey,
I created the artwork on my Microsoft Surface Desktop, which is like a huge tablet where you can directly draw on the screen. It's way more convenient than using a Wacom tablet. For this piece, I used Illustrator as my software.
Although I do use a Wacom tablet as well, I struggle with coordinating my hand movements while looking at the screen.

My brother said the same thing about the hand-eye coordination of the Wacom.  Rough. That's one of the reasons I have been dragging my feet on it.  I am going to look up the MS Surface Desktop just for fun.  I haven't heard of it.  Plus I have a Mac at home.  Sorry to take up your time.  This is very interesting.

You had me with the orange and hot pink. I love the whole color palette. I think the angles of the different flowers are what's got my mind blown next. This would make terrific nubby fabric for a knitting bag or an oversized Bermuda bag.

I took inspiration from Benjamin Moore's color of the year 2024, using Blue Nova as the background for my art. To make the artwork more vibrant, I decided to rearrange some of the colors. Before starting any art, I always visit websites like Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, and Farrow&amp;Ball for color inspiration. These websites are great resources for finding the perfect colors. :)

That's funny.  I was just looking at my Valspar paint samples this morning before I left for work wondering if I would ever use them this year.  Vindicated, LOL.

This is so pretty, Francine. The contrasting colors really gives it a folk art feel. Well done!
