I have been on Upwork for years, but I still struggle to stand out. I was thinking of giving it up, but after listening, I will learn to optimize my profile. I offer many services in the publishing field: indexing, proofreading, editing, beta reading, reviewing, and writing.

Plan of action: Work on my Upwork profile and create a portfolio so I have something to share with prospective clients. I also need to become a lot more active on LinkedIn and X. 

My services are needed in many countries, and I have had clients from the USA, the UK, Australia, and the Philippines. However, I will focus on the Caribbean, USA and UK and spread out as my business grows.

Opportunities for in-person networking are not readily available to me, but I will make it a priority to be seen online in a positive light. Giving advice and helping where I can.
